Originally due to the Mexico’s observance of Juarez’s Birthday on Wednesday, March 21, 2007, the delivery day for Mexican Peso was to change to Thursday, March 22, 2007. The change of a delivery day is determined per Rule, 25602.A.2 Delivery Days, Delivery shall be made on the third Wednesday of the contract month.  If that day is not a business day in the country of delivery or is a bank holiday in either Chicago or New York City, then delivery shall be made on the next day which is a business day in the country of delivery and is not a bank holiday in Chicago or New York City.

It was recently determined by the Mexican government to observe Juarez’s birthday on the third Monday of March. Therefore, the Mexican Peso delivery day for the March 2007 contract will be Wednesday, March 21, 2007.
